"Moses and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and the seventy elders of Israel went up and saw the God of Israel. Under his feet was something like a pavement made of sapphire, clear as the sky itself. But God did not raise his hand against these leaders of the Israelites; they saw God, and they ate and drank. " Exodus 24:9-11
They saw God AND they ate and they drank...WOW! This is yet another first time observance (see previous post). Imagine eating and drinking with God and SEEING Him! I guess this could be considered the same as when we partake of the Lord's supper because we commune with Jesus. I just can't wrap my feeble mind around eating and drinking WITH GOD!! WOW!!
